Art became therapy for her Soul.

This small sample of photos & videos can’t properly represent the meaning behind this trip to the coloured houses on the Cinque Terre in Italy . For years, Tracey had this place as a poster, screen saver and a much talked about goal of hers.

Why?

Coming from a place of severe Agoraphobia, this represented freedom. The opposite of the mindset she had for over 10 years. So, as you’d imagine, the journey to get here was fraught with breakdown and breakthrough moments. To get here (finally) and to share it with me was an absolute honour. It was a privilege to share the happy tears upon our arrival.

This is was not a Bucket List item. This was a 10 year personal development journey and destination fulfilled. On behalf of our 4 beautiful kids, we are all super proud of you for facing your fear and being the example for them to follow.

Spending so much time at home did bring two life changing positives.

One, a closeness with her children with whom she continues to have an undeniably “present” relationship with. Two, she discovered her freedom through painting. Through her art came the realisation that she was never completely in one spot , only her physical being was. Art became therapy for her Soul. It gave Tracey an outlet to express what she repressed. It's cliche to say, but her art gave her a window to be free.
